Program Coordinator - Recovery Support Center - FC

$42,000 The Recovery Support Center in Whitinsville, Massachusetts is seeking a Program Coordinator to provide support to members in running and facilitation of the day-to-day operations of the center along with office administrative functions.
Family Continuity is rapidly expanding its energetic workforce to lead fast paced, innovative clinical programming in our six different sites throughout Northeast, Southeast and Central Massachusetts.
Our mission for over 35 years is to inspire individuals and families to achieve overall wellness through counseling, support, education, and making connections to the community.
Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma/GED
Responsibilities:
Ability to interact courteously with members/families and visitors.
This may include interaction with individuals that may require greater support or assistance than otherwise expected.
Be aware of diverse cultures and belief systems; willing to be flexible and examine ones own cultural biases; and ensure that work with youth/family members and community representatives is done within a cultural context Coordinate activities, groups, programing, and special events within a peer participatory model.
Tracking and documenting all programs to ensure objectives and goals are met.
Coordinate room schedules, use of space, and ensure physical space is kept clean and presentable Represent program in community with members, vendors, state agencies, etc.
and attend external meetings as requested or required.
Coordinate the programs management in conjunction with the Program Director.
Monitor and supervise the preparation of management information reports and all other necessary forms and documentation to be submitted on a timely basis to the referral source.
Qualifications:
At a minimum, complete the BSAS approved Recovery Coach training program within 1 year of hire.
A minimum of one year experience providing office support and coordination within an organization providing services to people Family Continuity considers lived experience (personal of familial) with the mental health system a valuable asset minimum of 18 months recovery for this position Current driver's license, proper auto insurance coverage, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within the community Must become First Aid/ CPR certified if not currently.
Must become trained in the use and administration of Narcan Diversity is about different opinions, divergent ideas, and deviations into how we overcome our challenges and really address the needs of our community.
